Commission on Youth Ministry Application 2019 | The Diocese of Atlanta
The Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta Commission on Youth Ministry is now accepting applications for the 2019-2020 school year! The Commission on Youth Ministry's purpose to plan and facilitate multiple diocesan youth events throughout the school year. The Commission consists of youth and adults committed to living into our purpose statement for diocesan youth ministry - to form disciples by sharing the unconditional love and inclusivity of Jesus Christ. The commission lives into this purpose by planning and facilitating certain diocesan youth events including both DYC Retreats, the Annual Council Lock-in, and the Hunger Walk/Run Eucharist. This form is intended for rising 10th grade youth and adults 1 year removed from high school that wish to apply for the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta Commission on Youth Ministry. Requirements:
-Must be serving on only other youth steering committee
-Must be able to attend the overnight training the dates of August 23-24
-Must be able to attend meetings on November 9 and and all remote meetings
-Must be in high school during the 2019-2020 (to serve as a youth)
-Must be 1 year removed from high school to serve as an young adult/adult
