Open Streets Boston could not be possible without the help of amazing volunteers. Event Time: 10:30am-5pmVolunteer Opportunities:Block Captain - These individuals will be the group's direct point of contact in their designated zones. Captains will help troubleshoot, manage breaks, and direct and brief additional volunteers with their assignments. Captains will engage with businesses, community members, and programming organizations.
Route Ambassadors - These individuals will be responsible for greeting and guiding community members as they enter the event and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Assist guiding with navigating the route and locating activities and resources.
Programming Support - These individuals will work with the programming team to support vendors, resource tables, entertainment, and kids hubs.
Setup and Breakdown- Assist with setting up EZ-Up tents, tables, chairs, and other items at each activity hub.
- Place signage along the routes
- Help direct exhibitors and vendors to their appropriate activity hubs
- Act as liaison between exhibitors and vendors to the Open Streets Boston leadership team
- Help with clean up and break down after the event
