Event Dates: Utah County Fair: First Weekend of Aug. Volunteer shifts take place Mon-Sat of this week, plus some days the following week.

Expectations: 
  • Fair Board Meeting: Observe one Fair Board Mtg to see how the planning happens with the adult members, County Commissioners, etc. These take place once a month starting January before the fair.
  • Photo Shoot and Get to Know You: Takes place in March or April date TBA, at the Fair Grounds.
  • Social Media: Create ONE Social Media post with photo or video to promote the Fair. (Jr. Fair Board Volunteer Coordinator will approve and post this after you email it in). Make it personal! Make it fun!
  • Fair Set Up and Event: Daily Volunteer Hours: Minimum 25. This is the FUN part! Your week will look something like this: Monday Required: 8 am - Noon, Tuesday Required: 9-Noon & 6-7pm, Wednesday Required: 8-Noon: Lunch Celebration and Fair Kick-off for Board members Wed at Noon!, Required Sat: 5-9:30pm, Required Wednesday Following Week 8 am - 1 pm. All other Days During Fair Week: Scheduled Volunteer Shifts to reach a minimum of 25 hours...but believe us....you will want to be there even more, because we have a great time!
