Call for immigrants, immigrant adjacent/descendants and/or allies who would like to be VENDORS at the Roots & Raíces Festival on April 28th 2018, located in Station North.
Roots & Raíces Festival provides a platform for immigrants and descendants of immigrants to be represented in the arts in Baltimore City by giving them agency to perform, promote, and celebrate their artistic contributions to the United States.
EL MERCADO (The Market) will exist during the Roots & Raices Festival that will be held in April at Station North. This will be a vending/promotional opportunity for individuals/organizations to showcase and sell their art work, products and/or craft items as a means to represent and support the immigrant community.
Examples: Crafts, weaving/textiles, jewelry and/or accessories, beauty goods, herbal goods, artwork, paintings, health/community resource groups or organizations, homemade treats or food, prints, posters, zines, publications, clothing, artisanal goods, workshops, ect.
Fees: $5 for half (4ft) and $10 for half (8ft), table pricing will increase after March 25th (4ft = $10 and 8ft = $20)
NON-PROFITS AND COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS CAN RESERVE A HALF TABLE (4ft) FOR FREE!
