Cut, Print, Make: A Kid-Focused Paper and Printmaking Workshop!

Come celebrate love, solidarity and friendship with us, by making art and raising funds for our loved one, Maryam!

💗 Get your hands on some paper and printing in this 3-hour, kid-focused arts workshop and fundraiser for Maryam on Saturday, February 14th from 10am - 1pm at @makefunstudios! 🌱 This workshop is kid-focused (ages 5+) but all are welcome!

For our second CUT, PRINT, MAKE sessions, join local arts educators to learn how to make your own collagraphs, create a papercut portrait, try your hand at foam printing, and get your shirt screenprinted! 100% of $ from registration will go to 22-year old Palestinian student Maryam AbuIbaid, her two sisters, and her mother, who all live in Gaza. Maryam's family is urgently raising funds to access filtered water after her family became sick from drinking contaminated water!

Cost: $20-50/person

Registration is required. Kids must be registered with an adult. Kids and their loving adults are welcome to attend the workshop together or kids can attend the workshop by themselves. If you plan on dropping your child off to attend the workshop by themself, please check in with one of the facilitators and ensure we have contact information for you in case we need to reach you. 

Covid Safer Policy: This event is in-person with Masks Required. Please wear a KN95 or N95 mask, we'll have masks available (and in kid sizes) if you need them! Learn more about why we require masks here.

Location: Make Fun Studios, 850 SE 3rd Ave, Suite 202, Portland, OR

Finding the Entrance: Make Fun Studios is hosted within the "Tree Farm Building" on SE 3rd and Morrison (it's the colorful building with the trees outside!). You can access the entrance via SE 3rd Ave, follow the signs that direct you to the Tree Farm Lobby. We'll have a volunteer at the front entrance to let you in and direct you to Make Fun Studios, which is on the 2nd floor in Suite 202.

More access information: The space is ADA accessible with an elevator and accessible bathrooms directly across the hall.
