All journalists requesting accreditation are asked to file an application with our Press Department. An approved application entitles you to request interviews with filmmakers and guests, access to press screenings, and access to Regular and Premium screenings. As a limited number of Full Access Press Passes are allotted each year, the access provided by your pass may be limited to a certain number of films, to particular programs, or in other ways.
An MSPIFF Press Pass allows one ticket per pass per screening for:• Regular Screenings (any screening priced $13 or less)• Premium Screenings via the Rush Line only (any screening priced more than $13 General Admission)• Best of Fest Screenings• Access to the Industry Lounge• Panel Discussions and Events• Beverage and Food Discounts at participating locations
To apply, please follow the instructions below. The application requires all the following materials.
1. A completed MSPIFF 2017 Press Accreditation Application form, submitted via this online form.
2. A letter or email from your Editor/Producer assigning you to this festival.
3. Links or hard copies of past coverage of either MSPIFF or the Film Society of Minneapolis St. Paul. If you have never covered MSPIFF or the Film Society, please provide coverage of similar scale and focus.
4. Please complete this online application and email all additional requested materials to firstname.lastname@example.org, or mail them to "Press Accreditation, Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festival, 125 SE Main Street, Ste 341, Minneapolis, MN 55414".
All applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis up until March 30. Approved Passes will be available for pickup at the Festival Information Office beginning March 16. Accredited Passholders may begin redeeming their pass for tickets once tickets go on sale to Film Society Members and Passholders on March 23.
