Local artist Jason C. Eckhardt -- author of "Off the Ancient Track: A Lovecraftian Guide to New-England & Adjacent New York" and designer of Narragansett Beer's 2015 Innsmouth Olde Ale label -- will discuss a soon-to-be published book of H.P. Lovecraft's sonnet-cycle, "Fungi from Yuggoth."

The collection is the culmination of years of research by noted Lovecraft scholar David E. Schultz, and over a year of research and drawing by local illustrator Eckhardt. Eckhardt will talk about his approach -- choices of image, style, medium, and inspiration -- while showing illustrations from the project and offering brief readings from the poems themselves.
