First thing's first, let's talk veggies!
Framing the season: we're proud to say we met most goals for the 2023-24 winter share! Many great varieties of winter squash, brussels sprouts, and flower sprouts ALL made it this year! And we had fresh greens every week!! Plus lots of sprouts, ferments and beans.
While the storage crops that fill the winter share are mostly reliable (roots, cabbage, onions, etc), mother nature still has the final say. 2023 was a low-yield season for sweet potatoes and cauliflower. We also would have loved to include an early week of broccoli and a couple more cold-hardy herbs. Fingers crossed for better luck with these crops/timing/weather next season!
