3-Minute-Thesis Information Session and Panel (OCS and GWL)
Yale’s annual 3-Minute Thesis Competition challenges Yale PhDs to present their dissertation research to a lay audience in 3 minutes or less using a single PowerPoint slide! If you are considering participating in this year’s competition, join past 3MT participants and representatives of the Office of Career Strategy & the Graduate Writing Lab to learn about the competition and how best to prepare!
During this session, you will receive advice from those who took part in last year’s 3MT, while Yale administrators from the Office of Career Strategy and The Graduate Writing Lab walk you through the event itself and answer any questions you might have! Attendees of the session will also be given a brief tour and tutorial of the GWL PitchVantage Public Speaking Studio.
Bagels & coffee will be provided!
Date: Tuesday, December 10th
Location: Poorvu Center, Room 120A (at 301 York Street)
Intended Audience: GSAS students from all disciplines who are interested in participating in this year's 3MT Competition are encouraged to attend and apply.
