RSVP 2025 Seed Collecting Trips
Join the Coastal Prairie Conservancy to collect local prairie plant seeds! Volunteers work to collect seeds which support numerous conservation programs in southeast Texas, and no experience is necessary. These volunteer opportunities have a tremendous impact on regional conservation efforts, and volunteers are invited to visit prairies not generally open to the public.

Seed collecting is a leisurely way to enjoy the prairie and learn prairie plants. Walk with a companion in the prairie and run your hand up the appropriate seed head. Seeds that easily fall in your hand are ripe for collection.

All seeding collecting opportunities will be announced in the Coastal Prairie Conservancy's monthly newsletter, so please join our newsletter email list. A separate seed collecting email list will only be used for notification of an impromptu trip.

This Google Form will be used to RSVP for all future seed collecting volunteer opportunities. Save the following link for future access: https://bit.ly/25seedrsvp. (Note: use the lower case letters as shown.) For more information or questions, please contact Lan Shen via email at Lshen@coastalprairieconservancy.org.

Note:
**If you have not done so within the past year, please sign a CPC liability waiver online or fill out the printed waiver before participating in the field trip.
