There is growing concern about the future of the Afrobarometer.
The funding for this next (and now current) cycle of Afrobarometer remains deeply uncertain, to the degree that the continued existence of Afrobarometer is in question, at least in its current size and shape. If we do not receive assurances of significant new commitments by the end of the year, we will need to start retrenching staff, or possibly even closing down Afrobarometer entirely.
We are asking for your urgent assistance in addressing this funding crisis. One way to help is by sharing testimonials of what impact the Afrobarometer has had on the work you do. We will use responses to the six questions below to seek future funding. Thank you in advance for your support.

What impact has the Afrobarometer had on you and your research?
Are you aware of others IN AFRICA -- especially in government or civil society -- making use of Afrobarometer data? This could be in policy formulation, advocacy, accountability efforts, etc. If yes, please include any supporting information (e.g., media stories about AB data use, an NGO report or advocacy document that cites AB findings, etc). We are especially interested in the stories of how AB data has made a difference on the ground in the countries where we work.
If you want to be contacted about future efforts to save the Afrobarometer, please type your email address below. (We will not share your email address.)
