Join us for the 2nd Philippine Coffee Sustainability Congress on October 15–16, 2026, in Makati City.

Organized by the Philippine Coffee Board, Inc. (PCBI), this two-day gathering will bring together coffee farmers, researchers, government agencies, private sector leaders, development organizations, academe, coffee professionals, and other stakeholders working toward a more sustainable future for Philippine coffee.

With the theme “Cultivating Tomorrow’s Cup: Working Towards a Sustainable Future for Philippine Coffee,” this year’s Congress will explore sustainability, innovation, research, livelihood opportunities, and collaboration across the coffee value chain.

Day 1 – October 15 (8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Dasmariñas Room, Makati Sports Club)

The first day will feature a full program of talks, discussions, and presentations from industry leaders, experts, and stakeholders, along with opportunities to network and exchange ideas with members of the Philippine coffee community.

Day 2 – October 16

On the second day, participants can take part in a more immersive coffee experience by choosing ONE of the following activities:

COFFEE CUPPING
Time: 8:30 AM–12:00 NN
Location: Commune Cafe, Makati City
Maximum Capacity: 12 participants

Discover how coffee professionals taste, evaluate, and appreciate the unique characteristics of different coffees through a guided cupping experience.

WORKSHOP: SCIENCE BEHIND HAND POUR: BREWING TO ACHIEVE THE PREFERRED CUP
Time: 8:30 AM–12:00 NN
Location: Commune Cafe, Makati City
Maximum Capacity: 12 participants
Facilitator: Robert Francisco, PCBI Technical Director and Lead Instructor, UCC Coffee Academy

Learn how physics and chemistry shape the way coffee is extracted and ultimately tastes in the cup. Participants will gain a practical scientific foundation they can use to develop a brewing approach that suits their desired flavor and results.

COFFEE CRAWL
Time: 8:30 AM–12:00 NN
Location: Salcedo Village and Legazpi Village, Makati City
Maximum Capacity: 30 participants (2 groups of 15)
Facilitators: PCBI Directors Atty. Ceasario Rex Kapunan, Jan Gregory Christian Kilayko, and Rosario Juan

Explore Makati City’s vibrant coffee scene through a guided café crawl in either Salcedo Village or Legazpi Village. Participants will be divided into two groups, with each group visiting three cafés to taste and experience a variety of coffees while discovering what each neighborhood has to offer.

COFFEE FARM TOUR
Time: 7:00 AM–2:00 PM
Location: PCBI Technology Center, Amadeo, Cavite
Maximum Capacity: 20 participants
Facilitators: PCBI Directors Dr. Alejandro Mojica, Jose Mamar, and Jocelyn Mamar

Experience coffee from seed to cup with a guided farm visit where participants will learn about coffee growing, farm practices, and the journey from tree to harvest. The tour will also feature a special demonstration on turning coffee waste into briquettes, with round-trip transportation provided from a designated meeting point in Makati City.

IMPORTANT: Each participant may select only ONE (1) Day 2 activity. Slots for each activity are limited and will be confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Registration Rates:

• Early Bird Rate: ₱4,500 – valid until September 15, 2026

• Regular Rate: ₱5,000 - from September 16 - 30, 2026. 

• Registration covers both days of the Congress, including your selected Day 2 activity. Deadline for registration and payment is on September 30, 2026, or until slots are full.
