b) All applications will be tabled before the IWSC ‘Judging and Technical Committee’ (TJC) for preliminary approval.
c) On acceptance by the TJC, applicants will be asked to attend an induction at the IWSC offices in Surrey. Special arrangements will be made for overseas applicants as necessary.
d) On full acceptance a standard fee will be paid by the IWSC to cover local expenses. Fees will only be paid against invoice and in arrears at the conclusion of the judging period.
e) Judges are required to give at least one full week’s notice should they be unable to participate on a panel.
f) All tastings are completely blind, judges will not have sight of bottles
g) All results remain confidential until published.
h) IWSC has ownership of copyright for any tasting notes attributed to winning products.
i) The Competition has the right to refuse any application without explanation
j) The IWSC has the right to withdraw the status of any approved judge behaving inappropriately or bringing the Competition into disrepute, at its discretion.
