Request to join the note-sharing drive
The Cambridge SU note-sharing drive exists to help students share notes with one another during periods of strike action where some material may not be taught. The aim is for students to upload their own notes from previous years , and to use notes covering other students' notes that cover material they miss during the strikes.

Please read this information for drive users:

Cambridge SU moderates the note-sharing drive for offensive or inappropriate content, but we will not error-check and cannot take responsibility for the accuracy or reliability of the notes that are shared. Users should bear this in mind, and take responsibility for checking the content independently.

When sharing your notes please refrain from including offensive or inappropriate content. This includes but is not limited too:
- Targeted harassment or abuse of an individual or group
- Offensive language

How to avoid plagiarism when using other students’ notes:
- Make sure that the work you submit is your own and not copied or extensively borrowed from somebody else, even when using someone else’s notes.
- Ensure that your submitted work includes references to original sources by keeping track of references in your notes.
- Use notes to give you an overview of the content of a lecture or text. Don’t rely on notes alone to complete work or prepare for assessments.

Cambridge SU will store your contact details and any notes you share until the end of the Academic Year, for the purpose of running the note-sharing drive. To find out more about how Cambridge SU stores data please go to cambridgesu.co.uk/data.
