CAWNY Exams: to BOCES or not to BOCES
We have recently been approached by BOCES to begin writing our exams for 2019 starting this summer. Writers and editors would be paid by BOCES to come in over the summer and write parts of the exam. BOCES would work with our group to produce the exam, go through a rigorous editing process, guarantee exam security, and distribute the exam. They will also apply to have the exam accredited as a 4+1 pathway as they have done for our Spanish, French, and other LOTE counterparts. However, schools that take the exam will pay $5.50 per exam. We want to gauge people's feelings about this in the brief survey below. Your responses below in no way represent any kind of commitment. Thank you so much for taking the time to take this survey.
