DAPS Equity, Diversity, and Inclusivity Climate Survey
The anonymous survey below has been designed by the DAPS Equity, Diversity, and Inclusivity (EDI) Committee to understand perspectives within the department on issues related to equity, diversity, and inclusivity. These perspectives will help the EDI Committee to set priorities for its efforts. The design of this survey was helped by resources from Affirmity.

We define Diversity as: A community composed of individuals with different backgrounds, identities, appearances, and beliefs, such as, but not limited to, races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, ages, faiths, abilities, socio-economic statuses, family histories, education levels, documentation statuses, body shapes, veteran statuses, and intersections therein.
I view DAPS as being a diverse department.
I feel that DAPS is committed to improving diversity.
I feel that DAPS has policies that help to support diversity.
I feel that members of DAPS are comfortable interacting in a diverse environment.

Justice & Equity Climate
We define Equity as: A community in which all individuals are treated justly, and have unique opportunities and resources required for their personal success. We define Justice as: A community's actions to treat individuals with kindness, fairness, empathy, and humanity.
I feel that DAPS is a fair and just environment.
I feel that DAPS policies are fair and just.
I feel as though I can trust other members of DAPS.
