*NOTE: The 24-25 enrollment lottery has already occurred, so any new applicants will be added to wait lists for the 24-25 school year. Wait lists do not carry over year to year.
Please carefully review all information below and on the Enrollment page of our website (
https://www.fgcschool.org/enrollment.html) before submitting applications. Call 503-359-4600 with any questions.
Please submit a separate application for each child.
FGCS gives enrollment priority to residents of the Forest Grove School District. If your student is currently enrolled in another Forest Grove School District school, your district residency can be verified by FGCS through the student information system. If your student is not currently enrolled in another District school (e.g., you are enrolled in private or home school or if you are enrolled in another District), you must provide documentation of residency (e.g., recent utility bill or other recent mailing with proof of address). FGCS may enroll out-of-district residents if spaces are available after the lottery or later in the school year.
Non-Discrimination Policy: No student or applicant for enrollment as a student at FGCS shall be discriminated against in any educational program or activity on the basis of race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, ethnicity, national origin, disability, income level, proficiency in the English language or athletic ability.
NOTE: If your child is currently being served by special education services through an Individualized Education Plan (IEP), the IEP team may meet to determine how your child's needs can be met at FGCS. In accordance with procedural safeguards for special education, a school district must serve resident children with disabilities attending public charter schools located in the district in the same manner as the school district serves children with disabilities in other district schools.
NOTE FOR 1st GRADE: Students must have successfully completed kindergarten or be 6 years old by Sept. 1 to enroll for 1st grade. If your student will be 6 by Sept. 1 but has NOT completed kindergarten, please be aware that research strongly suggests that your student will benefit from completing kindergarten before starting 1st grade.
