Domestic Violence Training for Substance Abuse Treatment Providers
The Orange County Women's Health Project is offering a new training on the intersection of domestic violence, mental health, and substance abuse developed specifically for substance abuse treatment providers and others working with this population.

Trainees will learn about domestic violence, its incidence and impact on substance abuse treatment, why and how to screen for domestic violence, how and where to refer clients, and the limits of confidentiality and mandatory reporting.

We recommend allotting 2 hours for the training, however the training can be modified to fit a shorter timeframe if needed. A small table will be needed for registration purposes.
