Before you get started on our application, please note the following:

  1. Due to the high volume we receive, not all applications will be accepted
  2. Applications are kept on file for six (6) months. You are welcome to complete the form again after six (6) months have passed
  3. If you are recommending a program that you would run, please complete the “Suggest a Program” form instead of this one.

If you complete the following form, one of our staff members will let you know when your application has been received and will follow up with you if an opportunity becomes available. If selected as a CFPL volunteer, you will need to pass a Massachusetts CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) check prior to your first day of volunteering. CFPL will provide you with this application, and will bear all costs associated with completion of the CORI check.
