The We Shall Read MentorMe! Reading Training will teach you how to use the Brain Friendly Reading
systematic phonics program. You'll learn a set of straightforward instructional strategies that will allow you to serve children in a school setting or as a tutor. Educators and non-educators are welcome to apply.
It almost sounds too good to be true! Yet, it is all possible through We Shall Read, a 501c3 organization!
TWO TRAININGS ARE BEING OFFERED.
WHICH ONE WORKS FOR YOU?
June -- WSR's Southfield, MI office on the Lawrence Tech Campus
June 23 - 27 (5 days)

July -- WSR's Southfield, MI office on the Lawrence Tech Campus
July 21 - 25 (5 days)
9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
The training is normally $1,260. Thanks to generous grant funding, the cost of the program has been fully funded and is free for accepted trainees. Taking this training gets you the full 30-hour Brain Friendly Reading™ training, access to a personal mentor, access to the Monday Night Virtual Group Coaching Calls, many physical materials, and much more!
30 SCECH are available to Michigan teachers for $25.
Following submission of this application, you will be contacted to set up a brief phone interview. Interviews will begin at the beginning of May. Our goal is for trainees to attend every session. If you have a conflict, please let the interviewer know and discuss any potential scheduling conflicts during your interview. Interview slots will be made available through Signup Genius. Admission into the program is rolling.
Can't attend either of these trainings? No worries! WSR is planning to host additional trainings in the fall and our asynchronous course is available any time on our website at
www.weshallread.org/shop. Asynchronous trainees also receive access to group coaching, individual mentorship, and the opportunity to become certified.
