Europia is the only Greater Manchester Charity (Registered Charity No 1161453) that works for the benefit of E.U.Citizens. We are a community organisation that focuses on the development, integration and general well being of European Expats. We provide FREE support and advice on welfare rights, hate crime, and legal matters. We also conduct cultural and arts based events and activities for the community and the general public to raise awareness of the rich cultural heritage of European Expats in Greater Manchester. Our Office is based in Hulme Manchester.
Europia’s Welfare Advice Session/Legal SurgeryEach month we run a Welfare Advice Session, here clients can receive advice on housing, benefits, utilities etc. Additionally, once a month we run a Legal Surgery for those who require legal support. Both sessions are free to attend, also, we make every effort to find interpreters for clients who speak other languages.
EU Settlement SchemeWe provide support and guidance concerning The EU Settlement Scheme, clients can simply contact us with queries in connection to the scheme.
Over 50’s Polish Speaking GroupWe facilitate a free monthly polish speaking group for people over the age of 50.
Europia LGBTQ Europia is currently planning events and workshops particularly aimed at supporting the LGBTQ community, their families and friends.
Europia Arts Collective #EARTSEuropia works with Instituto Cervantes, Japan North West, and is the official Eurocine Partner of the Kinofilm Festival. We host a series of events and workshops with these and other organisations to raise the profile of European expats and showcase the rich cultural heritage of the community.
