The area (https://maps.app.goo.gl/ubEbUG84FoyJhh8Z6) is the bus lot of a high school/middle school.  It is flat with a great view of the sky.  It is very close to a major highway and on the outskirts of town, away from most of the traffic.  It is an area specifically for astrophotographers and photographers and is sponsored by the Lincoln High School Science Department.
