Lawrence Hall of Science Summer Camp 2020 Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Application
Thank you for your interest in working at the Lawrence Hall of Science this summer! By completing this application you are applying to the Counselor-in-Training (CIT) position. This program offers teens in 10th grade or above the opportunity to get valuable experience working with youth in science education. CIT's will assist Camp Counselors in programs for campers aged 4-14.

CIT's commit to 4 full weeks, between June 8-August 14, 2020
Weeks for Summer Camp CIT must be 5 days.
Each week runs Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM including staff briefings (8:30AM) and debriefings (4:15PM) every day.

*CURRENT INTERNS working as CIT’s will receive a stipend of $800 for full 4-week participation ($200/week x 4 weeks) and will receive an additional $200 for every full week beyond that and up to 10 weeks (maximum amount of: $2,000).

*NEW TEENS TO THE HALL working for their first year as CIT’s will receive a stipend of $600 for full 4-week participation ($150/week x 4 weeks) and will receive an additional $150 for every full week beyond that and up to 10 weeks (maximum amount of: $1,500).

There are three mandatory trainings all CIT must attend. Please save the following dates:
1.CIT Overview: Wednesday, May 6th OR Thursday May 7th 6:00-8:00PM
2.CIT Training: Wednesday, May 20th OR Thursday May 21st 6:00-8:00PM
3. CIT & Educators Team Meeting: Thursday, June 4th 5:00-8:00PM
