Thank you for taking the time to fill out our survey! The purpose of this survey is to c
ollect data to inform the development of a customized framework for effective school-provider relationships that support high quality SEL implementation based on existing research and new information specific to NJ. It should take you approximately 10 -15 minutes to complete. We are interested in hearing from a variety of service providers on their experiences working in schools to implement SEL programs.
While there are many definitions of SEL, SEL4NJ defines “SEL” as an umbrella term that includes social and
emotional development, character education, positive youth development, whole child/whole school approaches, caring schools and communities, and efforts to create positive school climate and culture. SEL also includes efforts to promote mental and physical health and to prevent substance use and bullying.
