Abundance Pruning Workshop

Want to learn how to prune fruit trees & revive neglected orchards into abundant local fruit-bearing resources? Our first workshop has now been rescheduled for Saturday 2nd Feb to be held at the East Ward Allotments on Cricket Road. We'll be meeting at the gate opposite Ridgefield Road at 12pm and will start with half an hour introduction to the principles of pruning, the tools required to do the job and a bit of tool care. From there we'll head on to the allotment, plan our pruning and spend the remaining time until dusk (4.30-5pm) putting the plan into action.

We can only accommodate 10 to 12 people on this workshop, so priority will be given to those who have been most involved in the project so far and then those who are willing and able to dedicate time to training others. But, if you haven't had the chance to get involved much before don't let that stop you applying. If you're free this weekend and feeling really enthusiastic about learning how to prune and skill-sharing then do put your name down.
