Everyone deserves a safe, healthy, and affordable place to live. But housing options in Seattle are becoming too scarce and too expensive.

It doesn’t have to be this way. By allowing slightly more market-rate housing and commercial space in all urban villages across the city, Mayor Ed Murray’s proposed Mandatory Housing Affordability program will leverage growth to create 6,000 new affordable housing units. Call on Seattle City Council to adopt the program.
