American Regional Biology Competition: the Boston Chapter (ARBC for short) is a student organisation founded by a group of students who aim to provide opportunities for students to take their interest for biology to the next level.
We will be running this competition in a weekend during April 2024. Students will be paired into a group of 3-4 and compete for prizes and a chance to participate in the ARBC nationals. Students are encouraged to come with a team, but can also reach out to other participants prior to the competition.
ARBC competitions includes 3 rounds: an individual round, a team theoretical round, and a team paper round. The topics covered will include cell and molecular biology, genetics, anatomy and physiology, biosystems, bioinformatics, ecology, ethology, and evolution. The questions would be around USABO opens/semifinals so don't worry if you are not a genius in biology!
There are many wonderful prizes to win including cash, gift cards, and more so be sure to participate!!
