2027 Waitlist Lottery
Dowling Community Garden is opening its waitlist from Sept 1-30. To confirm your interest, please complete this form. Respondents will be entered into a randomized lottery that will determine their rank on the waitlist. We typically open about 40 spots on the waitlist, and if there are more applicants than waitlist spots, not all applicants will be placed on the waitlist. This helps ensure that we are working with a waitlist of people who are likely to get a plot in the next 1-2 years.

There is no guarantee that waitlisted gardeners will receive a plot in 2027. The average wait time for a plot is 1-2 years.

We have a variety of plot sizes in the Garden. Please read the information for Prospective Gardeners. Keep in mind that the weed pressure is intense at Dowling and many gardeners find a smaller plot to be more manageable. Based on this information, what would be your preference for plot size?
