2020 National Safe Schools Convening Spirit of Education Award Nomination Form
The National Safe Schools Convening Spirit of Education Award is presented to an PreK-12 educator who exemplifies the work and passion for building a positive school climate and culture. School Climate and Culture encompasses a variety of topics including, but not limited to supporting marginalized student populations, college and career readiness, multi-tiered system of supports, domestic/dating violence prevention, inclusive educational strategies, social-emotional learning, mental health, trauma-informed care, suicide prevention, drug and alcohol awareness, parent-school-community partnerships, and any anti-oppression or advocacy work.

Any educator who works in the state of Minnesota can be nominated for this award.

The award will be presented at the 2020 Minneapolis School Culture Advocacy Symposium on April 17, 2020 at Normandale Community College in Bloomington, MN.
