2021 Bulosan Center for Filipinx Studies Research Conference  
The Bulosan Center for Filipinx Studies, UC Davis BRIDGE, and UC Berkeley's PASS are excited to announce the 2021 virtual Bulosan Center Filipinx Research Conference. This conference marks a new, yet continuing chapter for the legacy and journey of Filipinx Studies. Set for Friday May 28th and Saturday May 29th from 1-4:30pm pst, we offer you the chance to continue our first conference’s conversations and dialogues around Filipinx Studies’ legacy and scholar activism.  

We invite all University of California affiliated students, community organizers, professionals and community members to join us and build a stronger community by having conversations, research, and discussions on transnational activisms, virtual care, healing work, and activism of the Filipina/o/x community both within the U.S. and in the homeland.

Possible topics include:
Immigration and migration
Resistance against patriarchal norms and forces within the Filipinx community
Anti-fascism and Anti-racism Work
The politics and cultures of Filipinx communities
Queer and LGBT issues within the Filipinx community
Issues of education and activism in regards to the Filipinx communities
Health and health policy
Filipinx and Filipinx-American hxstories, narratives, and movements.
Other issues and topics within the realms of Filipinx studies or the Filipinx community at large
