BioHack Mentor Application
BioHack is a 12-hour health & medicine-themed hackathon hosted at University of California, Riverside. As a beginner-friendly and multidisciplinary hackathon, BioHack aims to give students the opportunity to create innovative and personalized solutions and save lives with their projects. During BioHack, students will get the opportunity to form teams and collaborate, attend workshops to learn about new technologies, and network with industry partners. Bridging the disciplines of computer and biomedical sciences, BioHack paves the new yellow brick road for the next generation of biohackers and healthcare advocates to heal the future. Our mission is to cultivate the next generation of biohackers and healthcare advocates and help meet the patient care needs of today with the technology of tomorrow.

On the day of the event, we would like the mentors to be walking around and helping the participants with their projects. With your different backgrounds, we believe that you can provide a lot of direction and insight for the hackers that could lead them to producing an innovative project. This means that you should have experience with web development, app development, using certain API's or other programming experiences, and are willing to guide the participants with their projects.

This year BioHack will be taking place on Saturday, May 18, 2019 and we would love to have you helping out at our event! Volunteers will be provided with a free T-shirt, meals throughout the day, free swag and so much more! Please fill out this form and we look forward to working with you at BioHack 2019!!!
