Attentional Record
FROM ASSIGNMENT:

Keep a record of your attention focus and related activities for 12 hours, at least once every hour. For each attentional object or event, try and identify what elicited it:
  • Was it a question that arose for you while you were reading something?
  • Was it a recollection of a chore you had to take care of or find out more about?
  • Did someone text you? Did something break?
  • Did you get an Apple or Android News update?
  • What device or ‘thing’ ‘attracted’ your attention?
  • Physically, what were you doing as you were paying attention to these varied things? (hands/eyes/body?)
  • Note down, too, affective experiences like boredom, frustration, excitement, etc.
