Students participating in Advanced Placement exams are marked excused from classes during their testing block.  With prior parent/guardian permission, they may be excused from the remainder (AM or PM) of the school day on the day of their exam(s).  This policy does not excuse students from classroom tests and assignments.  Students should communicate with their teachers in advance for the classes they will miss due to testing related absences and have a plan for completing missed work.  On days that students do not have an exam, they are expected to be in class for the full school day.

Please use this single form to indicate which days you are giving permission for your student to leave school early or arrive late due to their AP exam(s).  Check off all that apply and complete the required information no later than Thursday, April 30, 2026.  By entering your name in the parent/guardian field below, you are providing an electronic signature.  This form will be submitted to the MHS attendance office in place of a physical note.
