TRISS is a one-day conference, aimed at increasing awareness, interaction and knowledge in the Greater Pittsburgh information security community. For 2019, we are planning for Presentations, Roundtables, and Hands-On workshops on a variety of information security topics throughout the day. TRISS appeals to a wide range of attendees including network and application security professionals, software developers, security architects, computer science professionals, and students.
Local security groups hosting the fourth consecutive symposium include InfraGard Pittsburgh, ISSA and OWASP. We are planning for approximately 500 attendees this year. Further details and up-to-date information can be found at our website http://www.threeriversinfosec.com/ .
Call for PresentationsWe encourage students, security professionals, and academics from the region to submit presentations. The goal of Three Rivers Information Security Symposium is to share information, provide exposure for our presenters, and facilitate collaboration among the attendees. Sample topics include:- Career Development- Team Building and Motivation- Vulnerability Management- Policy and Governance- Privacy and Anonymity (e.g. GDPR, DLP, California Consumer Privacy Act)- Digital Forensics / Incident Response- Emerging Threats
You are encouraged to combine and integrate these sample topics or come up with your own. English language only presentations. Presentations are expected to be approximately 45 minutes in length.
