The SEAD Project presents SEA Roots: Language Workshops - Hmong, Khmer, Lao, and Viet language literacy workshops in 8 weeks; integrated with elements of culture and storytelling. Classes are led by a team of fluent and qualified Hmong, Khmer, Lao, and Viet instructors.

All information submitted in this form is confidential and will be used solely for the purposes of the language program.

***Please read below carefully before registering***

SEA Roots: Language Workshops are open to students who are 17+ years old and/or have Hmong, Khmer, Lao and Viet heritage background in the language they are registering.* All fluency levels welcome. *PLEASE NOTE: Hmong and Lao classes are open to the general public (anyone can take it). Khmer and Viet classes are pilot classes and are open to Khmer and Viet heritage students ONLY (only those who identify as having heritage).
• $150 Early Bird (Ends Feb 18 at 11:59PM)
• $200 Regular (Ends Mar 16 at 11:59PM)
• $250 Late (Ends Mar 27 at 11:59PM)

Full or Partial Scholarships are available to need-based students, please email for more info.

The fee covers teachers' time, coursebooks, resources, and in-class materials. To secure your place in class, please complete this form and send payment on the SAME DAY you register. You will not receive a confirmation email from us until your payment has been received by SEAD, even if you complete the rest of the registration form.

• Orientation is Saturday, March 30th at 9:30AM
• Classes are held every Saturday, from 9:30AM to 1:00PM from March 30th - May 18th
• Vietnamese class will be held in Saint Paul; all others are held in Minneapolis
• You will receive more information closer to the class start date
