Takin’ Care of Business: Spring Workshop Series

Takin’ Care of Business: Spring Workshop Series

The difference between a music hobby and a music career? Knowing your business.

If you’re serious about building a sustainable career in music, you need more than just talent—you need a strategy. Music PEI’s investment program offers serious funding to help you grow, but to access more of it, you need to level up your Artist Status. And to level up, you need to attend these workshops.

For the second year running, Takin’ Care of Business is open to all Music PEI members, delivering essential industry knowledge that can make or break your career. These sessions give you the tools to protect your rights, secure funding, build your brand, get gigs, and make money from your music.

How it works:

  • Core workshops (1 hour each) cover the business fundamentals: music rights, royalties, funding, grant-writing, and team building.
  • Advanced workshops (2 hours each) take things deeper—branding, marketing, touring, showcasing, record deals, and streaming strategy.
  • All sessions are free and online via Zoom.
Core Sessions are 1 hour and will take place from 6:30PM - 7:30PM AT.
Advanced Sessions
are 2 Hours and will take place from 6:30PM - 8:30PM AT.

All workshops will be delivered online via Zoom.
