At Bite Your Tongue we are driven by stories that are bold, informative and character driven. We especially love working on stories that centre women-led narratives but we would love to hear your ideas, regardless of the genre!

We really appreciate the time and effort it takes to submit a pitch and we will be in touch about any pitches we receive even if they're not a great match for us / don't work for us at this time. Please have a read of our Ts&Cs below.
Note on location: We are happy to receive pitches from around the world as long as they have some connection / root to the UK. We are currently not in the position to develop stories that exist completely outside of the UK.

Terms and Conditions:
1. By submitting your ideas we do not guarantee that we will develop them further. Should we wish to develop your idea we will not proceed without your agreement and further discussion. Unsuccessful pitches will be deleted to protect you and your idea.
2. By submitting you confirm that you have the authority to submit this work / idea and that your submission does not violate any copyright, proprietary rights, or rights of publicity or privacy. You must own the idea you are submitting and you cannot submit the idea of another person or party.
3. You acknowledge that Bite Your Tongue Productions receives numerous ideas and also operates its own development branch internally. Some of these ideas may coincidentally resemble your own, and Bite Your Tongue Productions has no obligation or liability regarding any potential infringement of your copyright. Should your ideas mirror / bare resemblance of an idea currently in development by Bite Your Tongue Productions, we will acknowledge this in good faith in writing and promptly delete your submission to protect your idea.
4. Anyone over the age of 18 is eligible to submit a pitch
5. Submissions are accepted exclusively through this online form; social media or email pitch submissions will not be considered.
6. Entry for submissions is open on a rolling basis until otherwise stated.
7. We, our sub-contractors, subsidiaries, agencies and/or any other organisation associated with your submission cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem with any server, Internet access, system or otherwise which may result in any submission being lost or not properly registered or recorded.
8. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
9. We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions or cancel this pitching opportunity at any stage.
