*Do not fill out this form if you are looking to sign up for a new membership because yours has recently expired. If you would like a new membership, this can be done on the join section of our website under the membership categories listed.
All 6 and 12 month memberships that were on hold due to the COVID shutdown are able to be reactivated. Please allow 5-10 business days for us to process your reactivation request.
After we review and process your membership, you will receive a confirmation email that includes your payment amount (if applicable) and expiration date (only for members that did not have automatic renewal). You will be given ID card clearance at that time as well.
Please note that the MIT campus is currently upgrading their access control systems. If you previously used an MIT Recreation issued membership card, with an ID card number that begins with “555,” your card is not compatible with MIT’s new card readers. However, you’re still eligible to resume your membership, our entrance desk staff will confirm your membership status upon arrival until a replacement card is available. If you’re a Spouse/Partner of an MIT Alum or MIT Affiliate (does not include Draper, Broad, Whitehead) you’re eligible to obtain a card directly from MIT’s Atlas Service Center.
