Aim of workshop
To introduce alternative approaches and models for neuroscience research and at the same time promote open-science practises, such as open publishing, preprints, open source softwares and hardware and data deposition.

Who should apply
i) Open to all African postdocs, PhD and MSc students attending SONA Conference 2019
ii) Applicants have to demonstrate how the workshop fits with their proposed or ongoing research activity.
iii) Applicants should be aware that the workshop will be intensive, starting from 9 AM to 8 pm. It will require strong motivation and drive to learn
iii) Only open African scientists

What will we cover for selected applicants
No attendance fees
Free accommodation for the workshop duration
We will not cover the cost of flight
Meals will not be covered
