How the State Budget Really Impacts Wisconsin Students
Please join us on May 16 from 4-6 pm for a frank conversation on what the 2019-2021 state budget really means to the 860,000 children attending Wisconsin's public schools - and what districts are doing about it.

The event features a panel conversation (moderated by Julie Underwood) with superintendents Pat Deklotz (Kettle Moraine) and Jill Underly (Pecatonica) as well as budget analysis with Christopher Thiel (Legislative Policy Manager, Milwaukee Public Schools) and discussion of how local communities are taking action statewide to stand up for a budget that works for Wisconsin children (Heather DuBois Bourenane, Wisconsin Public Education Network).

Morgridge Commons is in Room 159, Education Building, 1000 Bascom Mall, UW-Madison

Light refreshments provided.

Conversation continues after the event at the Memorial Union.
