Holy Work with Children: Noticing and Nurturing Faith
Our morning session will be for Cohort & Learning Lab leaders of the Engaging Children Initiative. We will explore how children make meaning through story, ritual, relationships, symbols, wonder, and participation. Through guided conversation and reflection, participants will explore a practical framework for understanding children's experiences of worship and prayer while building relationships with mentors and fellow leaders. Participants will leave with new ideas, possibilities, and a lens for supporting children's faith formation in their own contexts. Following lunch (free and included in this registration) Rev. Dr. Campen's Interactive Training: Simple Practices for Worship & Prayer will be joined by additional registered participants.
