HHPNC Director-At-Large Application

The Historic Highland Park Neighborhood Council is looking to fill 1 vacant At-Large Director seat. If you would like to join the board and work to improve Highland Park and make it a better place to live for all of its residents, please fill out this application to be considered as a candidate for the At-Large Director Position.

NOTE: The HHPNC is the official elected board of representatives for Highland Park to the City of Los Angeles (City) and the Los Angeles City Council. The purpose of the HHPNC, its job, is to operate as a body on issues concerning the community of Highland Park. These issues include the governance and services Highland Park expects from the City. The policy of the HHPNC, the manner in which it does that job, will be transparent, inclusive, collaborative, accountable, and viable.

The Board shall consist of nineteen (19) Stakeholders. Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older. The Board is elected by community Stakeholders or appointed by the Board. These are none-paid volunteer positions.

    Applications Process

    *Open application period begins Monday, June 12, 2017. *Closing date for applications will be Sunday, July 2, 2017. *All applicants Must attend the HHPNC meeting on Thursday, July 6, 7:00 PM to be included on the ballot. *The HHPNC will vote to fill 1 vacant At-Large Director seat on July 6, 2017, and applicants present may be asked to answer general board questions.
