WVCTM Board of Directors Election Nomination Form

Please consider nominating yourself or a colleague for an open position on the WVCTM Board of Directors. Positions are for two-year terms. 

Please consider serving on the WVCTM Board as a way to serve the organization and mathematics education across the state! Election will take place at our Spring Conference in March.

Board Position (for 2026 Election) *
Current Open Positions:

  • Vice President/Elementary - shall represent their respective groups and shall assist in the promotion of the work of the Council among the teachers of their division, also oversees the Teacher of the Year selection process.

  • Vice President/High School - shall represent their respective groups and shall assist in the promotion of the work of the Council among the teachers of their division,  also oversees the Teacher of the Year selection process.

  • Member-at-Large 2 - shall be assigned duties by the President, traditionally includes selecting winners of Golden Holtan Grants.

  • NCTM Representative - shall promote the work of the NCTM in West Virginia by advertising its meetings and services, securing members and contributors to the NCTM publications, and gathering information for NCTM.

  • Community Relations - shall help promote the Council's work as a liaison to the public and is active on the Communication Committee.
