ARES leadership in Cook and DuPage have agreed to a simplex test between Auxcomm Centers / EOC's in each county to determine capabilities and limitations for both voice and digital traffic. A goal is to prepare a guide for simplex ops going forward and have it available to plan future exercises including more detailed message handling.

The plan is to operate from the new ROC, as this will provide the most accurate simplex capability going forward.
In an effort to include members who cannot attend in person, we will include a local net, and may possibly include a deployment for those who are available to do so.
