Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, we at the UM Museum are taking the extra steps to ensure the health and safety of our faculty, staff, and students:
- All visits are by appointment only.
- Masks are to be worn by all unvaccinated staff and visitors at all times.
- Hand sanitizer is readily available.
- Guided tours have been temporarily discontinued.

A few notes:
- Please submit requests at least 24 hours before anticipated visit.
- A visit request is not the same as a booking, as there may be a prior event or booking. You will be contacted by museum staff to confirm your group's visit and answer any additional questions.
- UM students must park where their decals allow and walk to the museum.
- Class visits are limited to groups of 15 or less.
- Guided tours have been temporarily discontinued.

***Beginning August 17, the UM Museum will officially reopen to the public 10am-4pm Tuesday-Saturday! Visit requests will no longer be required at that time. To book a group tour please visit our 'Group Tours' page found under the 'Learn & Explore' tab on our website.
