Community Clean-Up and Environmental Justice Discussion RSVP
Wednesday, October 12, 10:00am - 1:00pm

Join North Lawndale Community Coordinating Council (NLCCC) GROWSS committee and the Jewish United Fund (JUF) for a North Lawndale community clean-up and lunch! This event will build on the recent momentum of the Litter Free Lawndale campaign to host regular community clean-ups that beautify the community.

We will meet at the Festival Lot and go from there to the clean-up site. After spending two hours picking up trash on the residential streets near the Festival lot, participants will return to the sukkahs for lunch and a guided discussion of sustainability and environmental justice in Chicago.

This event is part of the Chicago Sukkah Design Festival, an arts and architecture Festival taking place in North Lawndale during the Jewish holiday of Sukkot (October 9-16, 2022).
