We have a fun ISA and BPA fundraiser coming up!
Monday, April 1, from 6:30 to 7:30 pm, we are having what's called an "Hour-A-Thon.
We know there's no school this day, but it's literally the only day that works between a myriad of other scheduled events! Think of it like a "Sunday night" coming off Spring Break weekend.
We have a fun and engaging former high school teacher and coach leading this for any band families - students, parents, grandparents, etc. in a fun and engaging hour of fundraising!
Your goal is to bring up to 25 names and cell numbers of people you know. We're asking you to think beyond people you've already asked for things like car raffle tickets, frozen foods, etc.
If you have trouble coming up with names, we have Lincoln Band Alumni contact information for you!
You'll be taught and walked through every step of the process together. We're sending out emails to alumni in advance, letting them know Lincoln Band families will be reaching out and that it's "no joke" because it's April 1. :)
There will be food and prizes!
All donations go into one "pot." 50% will go to the BPA and 50% will be split between the number of participants for ISAs.
EXAMPLE: If our entire band, chaperones, roadies, families, participates (yes, we have room for a LOT of people and this happens in one big room!) and we make $50,000 (let's go!), $25,000 will go to the BPA to help cover Macy's costs that aren't included in your trip payments. The other $25,000 will be split between each participant. Let's say there are 250 of you participating and your family has three people working for one ISA.
$25,000 / 250 = $100 each person x 3 people working in your family = $300 to your ISA.
Seniors and families, we would LOVE to have you participate, either to help pay for your outstanding ISA before you graduate, or if you're all paid up, to contribute to the Feed the Band Fund, the Macy's Chaperone Fund, or the Get-The-Box-Truck-to-Macy's Fund.
Please participate in this if at all possible! This and the upcoming Mattress Sale are two potentially VERY BIG fundraisers for us!
