Summer Camp Financial Aid
DSACNJ and Club DREAMS is committed to providing a safe, fun, and affordable camp for our community.  All children deserve the opportunity to engage in meaningful summer programs, despite financial hardships, and we strive to support families who may otherwise have financial barriers to enrolling their child in a summer camp program.   We are fortunate to have received a grant from Ocean First Foundation to help support low and middle income families with the cost of camp in the summer of 2024.  Funds are limited, and we cannot guarantee that all potentially eligible families will be able to receive support as it will be distributed on a first come first serve basis to those who meet criteria.  Individual applicants are eligible for up to $250 for the summer programs.  The full $250 scholarship will be available to campers attending 2 or more weeks.  Partial scholarships will apply to campers attending only 1 week.   You should have information handy, including your monthly household income, your rent/mortgage expenses, and any government programs for which you receive assistance. In addition to the application below, documentation confirming finances may be requested. Families also have the opportunity to share with us any extenuating circumstances when submitting their application.  After you apply, a committee will review your application, and you will receive an email response and notification.  The camp scholarship will get deducted from your billed cost of camp.   We ask that families who can otherwise afford camp, but may need a payment plan, to contact us directly to work something out. We are also offering special discounts for early registration, multi-weeks, DREAM team members, and multiple enrollments from one family.

2. If applying for aid for more than one camper, please complete a separate application for each.
3. We will contact you directly if additional information is needed or to let you know when award decisions have been made.
4. A committee will meet to review applications and make awards until all funds are distributed. All details regarding your application will be kept confidential.  
5.  Scholarship recipients will be asked to submit a confidential note with their camper's experience so that we can share with donors to help support future funding.
