Hello from The Oceanography Society's Student Committee. The goal of this group is to increase engagement of students pursuing different fields of Oceanography.

The TOS Student Rep (currently Chrissy Hernandez) co-ordinates this committee via e-mail, Slack, and monthly video calls. Activities of committee members include creating social media content, organizing virtual or regional community/networking events, compiling open code sources, and brainstorming nominations for Council elections and awards.

To improve the content posted in social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter, we would love to know more about your interests and the field of work. We would like to hear from you and modify the content accordingly. We are open to suggestions that can help our peers to improve their skills, engagement and outreach.
