Citizens Speak - What's your vision for Marikina City?
Hello, fellow Marikeño or Marikeña! Thanks for taking time to answer this survey.

Before anything else, my name is Jean Palma (https://littlemissurbanite.com/about), I'm an urban planner, and I'm from Barangay Concepcion Dos. Mayor Marcy invited me (as an ordinary citizen) to our city's visioning workshop, which will be held on 11-12 October, 2018, at the Multi-Purpose Hall of Barangay San Roque.

Now, the visioning workshop is a very important event of how we plan for cities. In visioning, we imagine what our city will be like ten to thirty years from now, giving Marikina the guide towards a common development direction.

What's important it that our people get to have a say on what this vision is. And that's why I have this survey. I'm willing to help collate your thoughts and ideas on how we see Marikina moving forward. Don't worry, there are no right or wrong answers here, and I'll do my best to put good guidelines for each of the questions. :)

There are five parts in this survey:
(1) People, Politics, and Social Issues
(2) The Local Economy
(3) Blues, Greens, and Everything in Between: The Environment
(4) Public Works, Transport, Infrastructure, and the Built-up Environment
(5) Governance, Local Laws, and Institutional Services

This form will collect some information, and for the following purposes:

(1) E-mail address, so after the response, you get a copy of all your answers, and if we'd like to know more about your thoughts, we can contact you;
(2) Name, Barangay of residence, and age, so the planning team of the city can verify your identity as a Marikina citizen.

The survey will take about 15-20 minutes.
